Forms Designer not opening

Hi there,

once created a new PS forms project, I’m not able to open the *form.ps1 in designer.

I’m using PoShTools 5.7.4 and Visual Studio 2019 (16.7.6)

Any help is apreciated…

no, there isn’t any error message…

When you double click it, what is exactly happening? It’s just opening the PS1 in the text editor? What happens when you try to open it with the View Designer command.

When double-clicking it simply opens the file with code view…

As i have added the project to an existing solution, there is no View Designer command…

You won’t be able to open the form designer in folder view. You’ll need to open the SLN file in order to trigger the form designer. It’s requires the PowerShell Project system to be loaded.
