Visual Studio and PowerShell Pro Tools License

Although I have entered a license for PowerShell Pro Tools, in my project it keeps telling me that the windows form designer requires a license. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling from top to bottom. But these issues persist. How do you get around this?

Hey @mtotty,

Are you running in Visual Studio? If so can you try the following?

  1. Make sure that you have version 5.2.3 installed.
  2. Make sure that there is a activation.lic file in %AppData%\PowerShell Pro Tools
  3. Try to restart Visual Studio after reinstalling the license.

Sorry for the trouble but our 5.2.0-2 builds were causing issues for some reason with licensing.

If none of this resolves the issue, I’d be happy to jump on a call to try and see if we can fix this.
