Upgrade path from 2.4.0 to 2.9.0?

Hey everybody,

I noticed a few bugs that appear to have been fixed in later versions. I’m a paying customer looking to get the benefits of these fixes. For example, I can’ t use New-UDButton with the -icon parameter as it doesn’t work. Looking around and people say it’s been fixed in newer versions.

I’m a little confused as to how I can upgrade from 2.4.0 to 2.9.0.

I originally got our server running by installing the Windows MSI download on the website.

I understood it as Powershell Univeral is the all-in-one solution, containing everything. Yet I still see lots of referencing to separate downloads for Universal Dashboard. :roll_eyes:

The UD framework is still on the PowerShell Gallery mostly just for local IntelliSense purposes.

Aside from that the PSU MSI is definitely the latest and greatest. I’m not super surprised that an upgrade from 2.4 to 2.9 is causing some problems but I would be more than happy to fix them.
