Authentication issues 1.5.17

@adam - I have upgraded from 1.5.14 to 1.5.17 to get some of the new features, but its failing wsfed and openid authentication. I have tried on 2 seperate instances and it fails, even after a clearout of cache and cookies.

Roll back to 1.5.16 and it works fine…

I can reproduce this. I’m going to get this patched and release a 1.5.18 since this is pretty significant.
