-Children vs -Content

I am trying to understand the difference between the -Children and the -Content field on many of the components. The help files and documentation really dont elaborate. I ‘think’ i know why you would use one over the other. But what is the real difference and when should you use one over the other?

Content is usually just an alias for Children. They are the same.

I think you can have multiple childrens defined but only one content …
