Can't uninstall 1.1.1 msi

Hi, trying to uninstall the msi and hitting an error

“This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.”

Just tried this on a clean install on win server 2016.
No issues uninstalling from add/remove programs.
Did you try from here or did you right click and uninstall from the msi itself?

I did notice one thing, not sure if its related, the version number in add/remove programs was actually listed as 1.1.0

The other thing would be to inspect the registry uninstall path and see what is listed for Powershell Universal:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Thanks, that pointed me in the right direction,

It wasn’t in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
it was in: KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
so I used the msiexec in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 to uninstall it.
