Been running 4.2.0 for some time now but 2 weeks ago SSO and saml2 stopped working. At first it look like the database ot something along that line got corrupted.
I have two separate setups in two networks against two different Azure tenant, with the exact sam problem.
But now when I have figured out everything work fine as long as I disable SAML for authentication.
Anyone having the same issue?

I am also experiencing this. The admin console page enters an infinite loop. However commenting out the Set-PSUAuthenticationMethod -Type "Saml2" ... command in authentication.ps1 while the page is looping allows the user to enter the admin console, using the Saml2 authenticated account.

Just tride you “workaround” and indeed it works

It sounds like we have some sort of assembly conflict happening that needs to be resolved.
Same problem on my end.
We are aware of this issue and actively looking into it.
SAML2 work fins now after upgrading to 4.2.2.
