Didn’t noticed this being posted here, but there is a CVE for powershell 7.0 and 7.1, need to update to versions 7.0.6 or 7.1.3 respectively.
The article also mentions any .net powered apps might need to be updated so not sure if this is an area of concern for you @adam
Microsoft warns users to update PowerShell ‘as soon as possible’ | TechRadar
PowerShell Universal 2.0 targets PowerShell SDK 7.1.3 but I’m bumping the .NET SDK version to the latest version in 2.1.2 to cover all the bases with any other security fixes that might have been included in subsequent versions. No need to do anything except upgrade.
As for PowerShell Universal 1.5, we will need to update the PowerShell SDK version to 7.0.6 to take advantage of this fix. Working on a build of that for this week.
