Restricting admin page with custom role

I have authentication setup using OpenID to Azure. That is working correctly. I’m using a custom role I created for users of a Dashboard page (also using OpenID Azure auth). When I check the claims the user account only has that custom role. I can log into the /admin page with the same account and see the “Automation” and “Platform” entries in the side menu. It’s a new setup so I don’t have anything in Automation and only one Published folder (no authentication set on it). I had assumed the user would just get a blank page. Are these two items still supposed to show? Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

This is a bug and it’s been resolved in 2.3. The new build will be out tomorrow.
