Congratulations @adam ![]()
I’m very curious to see what the future holds for PowerShell Universal.
I can’t recall when my journey with Universal Dashboard began, but boy was it ever in its infancy, the pivot into Universal Automation and finally Universal has been some trip.
Sad to see it ending up at the hands of Devolutions, as my experience with them hasn’t been the greatest. But who knows, better not paint the Devil on the walls (i hope that phrase work in English too).
Congrats!
Congratulations!
I hope this helps you make the product great again (or even greater!).
However, I have a question about pricing. I hope it won’t skyrocket from around $500 per server per year to something like $700 per month, based on the current pricing of Devolutions’ other products.
A few years ago, the main reason I chose PSU was its affordability — the main competitors, ScriptRunner and Automator, were much more expensive.
If you decide to follow that (admittedly reasonable) direction, I think you might lose a significant portion of the community customers — possibly a large one, in my opinion.
Congratulations Adam.
I think this ultimately needed to happen from a scale and support point of view, and hopefully it gives you the resources you need to be able to take the product where it needs to go.
