2.4.0 - Multiple dashboards & scripts timing out

Noticed this in the console that I believe is causing the dashboards to stop:

Invalid configuration: variables.ps1
Failed to start dashboard. Waited 10 seconds for dashboard to start without a response.

I tried deleting the variables and recreating them, but the alert is still showing.
I am not sure if there is a bug fix available, but we are out of support at this time. We are waiting on our accounting department to renew our license.

Are there any other errors reported as to why the variables.ps1 is invalid? You may need to enable debug logging but you should see a PowerShell error.
