Bug Report: Table column filter presents error if attribute is missing from any row

Product: PowerShell Universal
Version: 2.1.2

When attempting to use the “select” column filters for a table where some rows may be missing the key/attribute for said column, an error is presented: Cannot read property 'includes' of undefined

For example, take the following super simple document:

[
  {
    "Hostname": "machine123.contoso.com",
    "CPU": 5
  },
  {
    "Hostname": "machine356.contoso.com"
  }
]

Then I have the following code for the table columns:

New-UDTableColumn -Title 'Hostname' -Property 'Hostname' -IncludeInSearch -ShowFilter -FilterType select
New-UDTableColumn -Title 'CPU' -Property 'CPU' -IncludeInSearch -ShowFilter -FilterType select

If I attempt to use the select filter for the “CPU” column, I will receive the error.

Thanks for the report. I’ve open an issue for it: Table column filter presents error if attribute is missing from any row · Issue #312 · ironmansoftware/issues · GitHub
